Introductions

The first entry for my blog . . . probably won't be too profound. My purpose here is to start a totally honest blog about restaurants and other food opportunities in the Kansas City area. The newspaper reviews are, for the most part, crap. They sound more like advertisements than reviews. I've always been a GREAT eater. (But I'm not fat.) And every time there's been a category on foodie terms on Jeopardy, I've aced it. I also think I'm a decent writer. At least, I've had intensive training in grammar and proper placement of punctuation. I don't believe in spell check. I AM spell check. I know the difference between its and it's, to, too, and two, and there, they're, and their. If I spell something wrong, it's a typo. So don't bother trying to make me feel bad about spelling, because any errors I make are not a result of stupidity, just a lack of dexterity. And if I start a sentence with a conjunction and end with a preposition, I totally meant to. I may even degenerate into blogspeak occasionally. But it is always totes deliberate.
